About Me

Thowheetha Shaah, director of Bespoke Mediation Service, based in Croydon, Surrey

My name is Thowheetha Shaah and I run Bespoke Mediation Service, based in Esher, Surrey. I understand how hard it can be to cope with a divorce or relationship dispute and the need for specialist support. As a mediator, I can help you find a way through the conflict and move towards a better future.

I qualified to practise as a solicitor in 1991 and qualified as a mediator in 2000. I was trained as a mediator by Resolution, an organisation of family lawyers who believe in trying to make the situation between a separating couple as least acrimonious as possible. I am an accredited specialist member of Resolution.

I am also an accredited mediator with the Family Mediation Council and a mediator and legal consultant for the South-East London Family Mediation Bureau in Bromley.

Passing on my years of experience, I offer legal training through National Family Mediation, the largest provider of family mediation in England and Wales.

I am an honorary legal advisor at the Royal Courts of Justice Advice Bureau. In the past, I have been an advisor at Bromley Citizen’s Advice Bureau and the Bromley Domestic Violence Forum. Furthermore, I have been treasurer of the Bromley and District Law Society from 1999 to 2016 and was the society’s President in 2007/8.

Alongside my work for Bespoke Mediation Service, I am a family law consultant for Setfords Solicitors and can therefore also be engaged as a family law solicitor.
